Echoes of Konstakademien

Installation and sound interventions into architecture and infrastructure of Konstakademien, for MFA Graduation Show 2025.

Two speakers, placed beneath lifted radiator covers on construction stands, repeat the word ‘munnen’ – the mouth – as it drifts from language to noise. Scattered around the space are jesmonite casts of the academy’s ventilation grills, the decorative filters that quietly shape the building’s breath.

1. Entrance – voice repeating “välkommen”, mutating in and out of language
